Ted Hamler acquired several original A.C. Gilbert press photo proofs for catalogs, and has allowed photos of them to be shared on
the NASG web site for all to enjoy. These are 11"x17" color photos. The photos were produced between 1954 and 1964. These samples
represent some the best catalog artwork of that era. Unlike Lionel, the A.C. Gilbert Company created and archived all of its
artwork at the factory for eventual re-purposing or inspiration. At the closing of A.C. Gilbert in 1965, all intellectual property,
including the catalog artwork and press proofs, went to the Lionel Corporation for archival purposes. This particular grouping of
press proofs was sold at the 2003 Richard Kughn Madison Hardware auction by RM Auctions in Novi, Michigan. All photos are
