The D&H 40-foot, steel-sheathed box car showed on their roster in January 1953. The prototype photo is courtesy of Delaware & Hudson Railway Historical Society. It shows a later rebuilt model with an 8-foot door and the roofwalk removed. Ours will have the same paint scheme, but with 6-foot wide Commonwealth doors and a roofwalk.
