When the Enhorning trucks were beginning to deteriorate, S Scale Loco & Supply modified one of the sideframes as a pattern for making brass investment castings. SSL&S milled off the integrally-cast brake cylinder and torsion bar and replaced them with individual three-dimensional parts before casting. The main photo shows the top-down view of the SSL&S and Enhorning trucks to illustrate the differences. Unfortunately, SSL&S did not take the opportunity to make two mirror-image patterns, easy to do with separate cylinders and torsion bars, so, again, the brake piston points the wrong way on one side of every truck.
