Piggyback Unloader and Car accessory was produced in 1959 and 1960 and has one variation. The accessory came with a #24550 Monon Piggyback flat car with two trailers that came in one of Gilbert's most colorful boxes. The factory prototype of this unit featured automatic unloading, however, due to cost consideration, Gilbert elected not to produce the #23830 with the automatic unloading feature.
