Model Notes:
The detail and flexing action are quite nice. The truck can be modernized to represent an early all-steel truck with separate pedestals by removing the cast-in bolt heads on the top beam. Ed Kirstatter noted that this kit of lost-wax brass castings is rather challenging to build, requiring filing and bending of parts to get a smooth rolling truck. The bolsters are made of an insulating material, and come wired for lighting. The various sub-numbers of the product IDs are for the different spring tensions, which depend on the weight of the car for which these trucks are used.

Model Notes:
When the Enhorning trucks were beginning to deteriorate, S Scale Loco & Supply modified one of the sideframes as a pattern for making brass investment castings. SSL&S milled off the integrally-cast brake cylinder and torsion bar and replaced them with individual three-dimensional parts before casting.
