These cars were used to transport live poultry (chickens, turkeys, pigeons, etc.). Half of the car, the caged area, was used for holding the live animals, and the other half is refrigerated for packaged items, such as eggs, butter, and slaughtered poultry. There was also space for the attendant who took care of the animals en route.

This is a craftsman-style kit consisting of pre-cut wood pieces, Kadee 802 couplers, Ace archbar trucks (kit), KC brake system white metal parts, formed grab irons, brass wire, and custom-printed decals.
