Notes:
Schnabel cars are often marked as the largest railroad cars found. They are designed to car large, heavy, and oversized loads. The unique thing about their design is that the load itself is an integral part of the car's "body". Without a load, the two ends can be connected to each other to operate as a normal car consist. They come in various designs, as they are purpose-built. The kit is based on a car that was used to transport very large transformers for GE and Westinghouse. If the load could not handle the stress of the train, a bridge platform was used. Most of the time a train consisted of an engine, this car, and a caboose.
