Historical Note

Each year S-Helper Service did a Christmas car, engine, or load. The information about these items is fully integrated into the main Product Gallery section of this web site, but we thought it might be fun, for those of you who are collectors, to see all of them listed on one page.

Note that for Christmas 2010, the company had in the works a Polar Bear car load and the Delaware & Hudson Bethlehem Hb that were scheduled, were not produced due to the Sanda Kan issue that year.

1998
Maine Central extended-vision caboose (part #00268). We have not received a photo of this model. If you have this car and can take a photo of it, we would be happy to show it with proper credit.

1999
Cedar Heights Clay PS-2 two-bay hopper #111 (part #00414).

2000
Pacific Great Eastern reefer with a snowman popping out of one of the ice hatches (part #00497).

2001
Northern Pacific double-sheathed box car with Christmas presents inside guarded by an Elf; however, he's asleep (part #00564).

2002
Jack Frost PS-2 three-bay hopper (part #00972).

2003
The Great Northern stock car contained the deer (part #01138).

2004
The company released a set (part #01507) for this year's Christmas that consisted of the Maine Central SW9 (part #01502, available in DC, Locomatic, or DCC) and...

...the Maine Central extended-vision caboose (part #01270). Perfect to run around on some track under the Christmas tree!

2005
The Maine Central two-bay open-top hopper with the coal load covered by snow (part #01645).

2006
The Burlington Northern bulkhead flat car with a load of some very large presents (part #01728).

2007
Trailer Train trailer-on-flat car with an REA trailer load decorated for Christmas (part #01811).

2008
Maine Central two-bay covered hopper with a lit-up reindeer popping out of one of the hatches (part #01861).

2009
The Great Northern double-sheathed box car with Christmas tree load (part #02054).
