The kit consisted of pre-painted and lettered sides. The cast plastic ends typically arrived warped.

The photos are of Ed Kirstatter's model. He replaced the crude cross bearers, AB brake system parts, and the warped ends. He had to add truck bolsters for the S-Helper Service trucks he used. The boards were scribed for 6" boards. He used Floquil's box car red to come close to the original body color. He installed Kadee S-scale #808 couplers. (and, yes, the truck is off the track!)
