The #25045 was produced through 1960 in two variations. The first variation, shown in the first photo, has an unpainted black plastic body and a two-piece brake wheel. The second variation has a body that is painted black over a yellow painted black plastic body with a one-piece brake wheel.

This photo shows the hand-built model (i.e. a prototype of #25045) by the A.C. Gilbert factory for consideration of production.
