These came in two versions. One was a complete kit with an American Models drive system. The other was a body-only kit (the modeler needed to provide the motor, driveshafts, and side frames from an AM FP7). Note that some of these models were bought by Greenbrier Railroad Models and sold as custom-painted versions; they were not manufactured by Greenbrier. Bill Wade, owner of B.T.S., has indicated that the mold and rights to produce the BL2 was sold to a unnamed modeler sometime in the late-2010s.
