According to the May 1965 Model Railroader magazine review of this car, this kit was based on the Duluth, Winnepeg & Pacific 1920 36-foot box car, of which that railroad had 744 cars numbered between 30000 and 31498.

The kit was packaged in a 8"x3"x1-1/2" box, and consists of two sprues of ten NBW, track spikes for the door's lower guides, a handbrake wheel, and pewter metal K brake, turnbuckles, and queen posts. Also included are brass wire for the truss rods, hand brake shaft, and brake rigging. The body appears to be made out of basswood. The kit includes two screws to attach the trucks to the body.

Allen Ambler's model shows it with American Models Bettendorf trucks, Kadee HO-scale couplers, and CDS dry transfers for the decals (of which Allen states that they are a bit too modern for the car).
