The "Gold Belt Line" was the nickname for the Florence & Cripple Creek railroad. The #(240)55 was produced in 1960 and 1961 which has six variations that is broken down into two major groupings. The first group, which has two variations, has an opening without a door as shown in the first photo of the car on the left in the back row. The differences in these two variations have to do with the existence of the sticker above the number on the car. The second grouping, which has a non-moving door to the left of the opening, has four variations. The difference in these four variations has to do with the presence of a brake wheel, Pike-Master or sintered iron trucks with knuckle couplers, the placement of the stickers, and the presence of a one-piece brake wheel. In the photo are examples of two of the four variations in the second grouping. The car on the right has knuckle couplers while the car in the front has Pike-Master trucks and couplers. The #24057 Civil War-style box car was produced in 1962 only, in two variations. The first show, shown in the main photo, has a white plastic body while the second, shown in Photo #2, has an ivory plastic body (the non-operating door is in the open position, which covers up part of the "Mounds" logo).
