This car was produced from 1961 through 1964 in two variations. The most common variation, shown in the photo, has a modified type III frame with the Hayjector mechanism. The second, and least common, has an unmodified type III frame, but does not have the Hayjector mechanism. The box car may have come with the two track trips like the #25071, but there is no documentation that proves that one way or the other. When these cars were sold as part of a set, all of the sets had Pike-Master track, therefore only one trip was necessary.

There were only two (!) of these cars ever made. These were pre-production models that A.C. Gilbert made for Planters as they were trying to get Planters in some sort of joint project that never happen. As a result they were never put into a production run.

This car was produced in three variations. The first variation has a light-yellow plastic body, the second has a dark-yellow body, and the third has a mustard-yellow painted body. One side of these cars has the door molded closed, while the other has the door molded open.
