Notes:

The kit consists of a wooden floor, two roof strips, two end blocks, and a spacer block. The metal sides, ends, roof, and roof walk are to be attached to the wooden core. Includes detailing parts and Northeastern Bettendorf trucks. Super Scale manufactured diesel locomotive, passenger, and freight car kits in the 1940s. Perma Bilt, Super Scale's successor, continued the freight cars but abandoned the diesels and passenger cars. Chief spotting difference in house cars is the roof. Super Scale roofs were wood with separately-attached metal ribs. Perma Bilt roofs were one-piece metal stampings. Kits included wood roof, floor, and end blocks; embossed steel ends and pre--painted-lettered sides, steel center sill, and stamped steel and soft metal details. No trucks. Specimen built by Dick Karnes. Northeastern Bettendorf trucks. HO Kadee couplers.
