These came with plastic wheels that the modeler may wish to replace with metal ones. By shortening the ladders and removing the roofwalk, the modeler can make a more modern version of the car (when roofwalks were outlawed).

Ed replaced the wheels with American Models metal ones and installed Kadee #808 couplers.
