These came with plastic wheels that the modeler may wish to replace with metal ones. By shortening the ladders and removing the roofwalk, the modeler can make a more modern version of the car (when roofwalks were outlawed). An additional paint scheme was added in 1991 for the NMRA convention in Denver, Colorado that year.
