These came with plastic wheels that the modeler may wish to replace with metal ones. By shortening the ladders and removing the roofwalk, the modeler can make a more modern version of the car (when roofwalks were outlawed).

Ed cut and filed the sill tabs out to make a different looking car. He also replaced the plastic wheels with S-Helper Service metal ones, and installed Kadee #802 couplers.
