Bill Lane reports that his model was extremely dry, so it made quite a bit of noise. Even though his model has NWSL drive components installed, he still took the tower and truck gearboxes apart and oiled them. He also applied oil to the motor bushings (from the outside) and the driveshaft U-joints. Every possible moving part was oiled.
