S Wheel and Track Gauge

Almost every S modeler will need one of these gauges. They define the officially-recognized NASG and NMRA standards for S (standard-gauge rail spacing) track and equipment. To guarantee that your locomotive and your car is compatible with your chosen track system, you will need to check both with this wheel-and-track gauge. The track portion of the gauge verifies that your track is a match to the S standard. The wheel portion verifies that the wheels on your locomotive and rolling stock are a match to the S standard. The gauge comes with an instruction sheet. Note that this gauge does not verify clearance heights, as we have different standards for those depending on the era you model.
