The Gilbert Birthday/Anniversary box car was produced around 1984 using an overstock of 1981 NASG #0700 by Lionel. It was produced by Walt Danylak who operated G&W Models. According to an article by Doug Peck titled "The NASG American Flyer Car Projects" in NASG's The Dispatch, June 2007 issue, there were 100 or less made. Notice in the photos the car it has two different sides, one side the car commemorates the 75th Anniversary of American Flyer Trains 1909-1984, while the other commemorates the 100th Birthday of A.C. Gilbert 1884-1984.
