Steel reefer. Bob got this model second-hand and had to essentially re-create the sides to make them look like the originals as much as possible, because they were in really bad condition. The paint on these models flakes off after a while. He added some Pacific Rail Shops details, Grandt Line AB brake system components, and door hinges.

This is a model of the 37-ton iced reefer. The kit came with metal sides pre-painted, lettered, and numbered. Stamped metal parts were put around a wood box then details added. You had to paint everything except the sides. Trucks are unknown, and Kadee S #802 couplers as well as some extra details, were added. It weighs in at 9 ounces.
