Dan started the construction of this layout in his previous home in anticipation of the move. His design proved successful when he was able to set it up and operate it again quickly after the move. More construction and expansion are in the works. The layout's purpose is to model passenger train terminal, yard, and servicing operations.

This is Dan's current plan for his new switching layout.

This photo shows a corner module under construction in Dan's previous home. These did not make the move, but they do show the core benchwork.

The straight sections were all packed up, ready for the move.

This is Dan's current set-up in his new home. The sections/modules are connected to one another, so most only have to have one set of legs.

Dan is testing some operations on his layout.

The track-laying stage is making progress.

Dan states that some of the Shinohara turnouts are now being placed on their third layout. While fragile, they are salvagable.
