Notes:
Although Jack passed away, his widow has kept the layout, so that friends can gather from time to time to run trains on this large layout. Jack was a police officer for 40 years, and he was the co-founder of a couple of S clubs and a historical society. Within the S-scale community, Jack is also known as the owner of the Rex Engineering company, which he took over when his father passed away, and which he later sold to Terry Putt.
This photo shows the River Raisin Models Sharks running on Jack's layout. Behind the bridge are the PRR Sharks, owned by Ed Kirstatter. This photo was taken shortly after the Sharks were imported back in 2007. The bridge shown in the photo was scratchbuilt by Bill Crammer.
Taken at the same time as the first photo, this shows both Sharks consists running on two different levels of the layout. The layout actually has three levels. The B&O Wagontop box car was manufactured by Overland Models back in 1984. The same goes for the Airslide hopper car partially visible in the photos.
