Notes:

The layout was built into the attic of a detached one-car garage. Of note was that the rail he used for the layout was brass code 172 which he obtained due to his association with local O-scale modelers. All track was hand-laid. The magazine article referenced contains a track plan. Most of the equipment was converted American Flyer models. Sig was a founding member of the Southeastern Michigan S Gaugers back in 1978. He passed away in 2022, just shy of 96 years old.

These photos were sent to us by Sig's son, Rod, who indicated that he does not know the photographer. Sig is the person on the left in this photo.
