Notes:
The layout was built into the attic of a detached one-car garage. Of note was that the rail he used for the layout was brass code 172 which he obtained due to his association with local O-scale modelers. All track was hand-laid. The magazine article referenced contains a track plan. Most of the equipment was converted American Flyer models. Sig was a founding member of the Southeastern Michigan S Gaugers back in 1978. He passed away in 2022, just shy of 96 years old.
