These were auto parts cars used at the Ford plant at Edison, New Jersey. Don Thompson remembers Stan Stokrocki made the patterns for this car's urethane resin kit. Bob Ristow made the logo decals and Herald King made the data decals. Liberty Models made the AB brake set and the end platforms. The floor was either custom or from Northeastern, as was the strip wood. Roller-bearing trucks were from Ace. The second photo shows the kit's parts. This early form of resin warps and gets brittle over time. Bill Lane's model (third and fourth photo) shows the warping in the center of the car, easily spotted in the fourth photo.
