are available from many places. Exactly what is available
at any given time may vary, so creating and maintaining
a catalog would be next to impossible. Therefore on
this page we have attempted to provide pointers to suppliers
and other sources of details parts that may be suitable
for use on your "S" layout.
The first table is a list of suppliers who
specifically market details for the S scale layouts.
These are suppliers who have gone the extra mile to
produce parts scaled for specific needs in S and market/label
them for S scale. Also please note that suppliers are constantly expanding their S scale detail parts offerings, so it is worth checking with each of the supplier when you're looking for something and it is not listed.
But there are also many other sources
of details that may work for your layout - for example,
HO details parts may fit your needs particularly in
narrow gauge S, and some manufacturers of O gauge products
produce detail parts that may be useful on an S layout.
So in the second table we have started a list of other
sources for details that may be useful.
