2006 NASG American Flyer Commemorative Car

The NASG has contracted with Lionel Trains® to produce a limited run of the 2006 American Flyer® commemorative freight car. The 2006 car, 25th car in an annual series of NASG cars begun in 1988, will be a diecast Brownhoist Crane. The black and green crane is lettered in white for General Electric. The car will feature diecast six-wheel freight trucks and operating knuckle couplers. Car number is 2406. This car is the third car in a series of GE work train cars, which may culminate with a diesel switcher in the final year. The car is available only to current or new members with a limit of 2 per member.

2005 NASG American Flyer Commemorative Car

The NASG has contracted with Lionel Trains® to produce a limited run of the 2005 American Flyer® commemorative freight car. The 2005 car, 24th car in an annual series of NASG cars begun in 1988, will be a diecast depressed-center flat car with generator and two diecast searchlights.. The black flatcar is lettered in white for General Electric. The car will feature diecast six-wheel freight trucks and operating knuckle couplers. Car number is 2405. This car is the second car in a series of GE work train cars, which may culminate with a diesel switcher in the final year. The car is available only to current or new members with a limit of 2 per member.

1999 NASG American Flyer Commemorative Car

The NASG contracted with Lionel Trains® to produce a limited run of the 1999 American Flyer® commemorative freight car.The 1999 car, 18th car in an annual series of NASG cars begun in 1988, was our first caboose: a red painted illuminated Great Northern caboose, with black and white lettering and GN herald. GN herald appears on sides and ends of car.
