Phases I (original with short stacks), II (same as I but with long stacks), III (6 rows of louvers added), IV (louvers spaced for lettering), and V (flat space in front of cab disappears) were produced. The second photo shows the unpainted model, as originally sold. The models were built by Samhongsa Co. in Korea. Click here to view (or download depending on how your web browser handles .mov files) a video taken by Roger Nulton of his painted model on his layout in which he installed the DCC Soundtraxx Econami sound decoder. The model's forward speed is at speed step 1 with no adjustments to the decoder. In reverse it is going at speed step 3.
