These models were imported from Korea. Ed applied paint, decals, and installed couplers and marker lamps to get a finished model. These wood cabooses were a wartime emergency (WWII) for the Reading to save steel for the war effort. The way the couplers were mounted on these cars would make you think these had Duryea cushion underframes! The second photo is one by Bill Lane of his model. According to Overland, these models could also be for the Lehigh & Hudson River Railway (L&HR). The models had brass plates included for those modelers who wanted to model a prototype that didn't have the double-windows on the sides.

NASG Project Car. Based on an American Car & Foundry 10,000-gallon tank car. Insulated, high-pressure. Insulated cars have a slightly larger diameter and inset ends, to cover the insulation. The small dome is also indicative of the high-pressure feature. This particular car was used to transport vinyl chloride, anhydrous ammonia, liquid propane, gasoline additives, etc. Lines ran through the insulation to keep the content cool. The models were built by Ajin of Korea, and imported unpainted. These included the safety platform around the dome, and came with the AB brake system installed. Available with either scale coil-sprung T-section Bettendorf trucks, or AF-compatible Ace sprung-Bettendorf trucks with hi-rail wheels. 50 models were produced.
