Special NASG-sponsored car project. This 80-foot heavyweight car is a 10-section, 1-drawing room, 2-compartment (10-1-2) sleeper car as designed, built, and operated by Pullman, painted in Pullman green. The cars came painted but not lettered, to allow the modeler to make the choice. Suitable dry-transfers were included. Initially, these models were only available to NASG members. However, the cars were a great success, so American Models started carrying them as a regular stock item. AF couplers and trucks were installed, but scale wheels and scale dummy couplers were provided in the box.

Road Name:Canadian National Railways (CNR)
Model Introduced:2004
Product Type:Ready-to-Run
Special NASG-sponsored car project. This 80-foot heavyweight car is a 10-section, 1-drawing room, 2-compartment (10-1-2) sleeper car as designed, built, and operated by Pullman, painted in CNR black and green with yellow stripes. The cars came painted but not lettered, to allow the modeler to make the choice. Suitable dry-transfers were included. These CNR cars were, initially, painted in the wrong colors. A re-painting program was instituted, of which Andy (the owner of the model shown in the photos) re-painted a good number of cars. However, the model shown in the photos (one photo for each side) still has the original, incorrect color. See Photo #3 for the correctly-painted version. Initially, these models were only available to NASG members. However, the cars were a great success, so American Models started carrying them as a regular stock item. AF couplers and trucks were installed, but scale wheels and scale dummy couplers were provided in the box.
