Ken's model was built from the kit version. American Models used to produce kit versions which were the three-digit product numbers (the current ready-to-run models have the digit "4" prefixed to the model number). Photo #2 is Holt's partially re-painted model, to represent the car as it was in its mid-1950s appearance. This class of mill gondolas (#13700 - 13899) was built by Pullman Standard in 1951. The model features Highball Graphics decals and Model Graphics dry transfers for the lettering and numbers, sealed with a flat clear lacquer.
