The models, imported from Korea, had a gray primer coat of paint on them. Bill's model of this "wagon top" hopper includes additional draft gear and cut-levers. The second photo is by Ed Kirstatter lettered for the later era of the 1950s. Ed's version has been painted with Scalecoat M.O.W. grey and he decaled it with John Hall #112 set made especially for these cars. The trucks were left black because that is what the B&O did. Kadee S #802 couplers were used. Ed has the pilot model bought directly from River Raisin.
