This product SKU number, SWLE-8, consists of a set of two cars. One car with, and one car without the fins on the top and ends of the car. The fins were original in 1936, but were removed in later years. As per the prototype, the brake system at the cars' ends were different between the two models as well (see Photo #4). It is unclear if these models were available individually as well, as "SWRI-6" (with fins) and "SWRI-7" (without fins) product SKUs have been found. There is a product review in the October 1990 issue of the 3/16 "S"cale Railroading magazine. That article makes no mention of that. The models were made by Duck Yoo Corp of Korea, and arrived unpainted (covered in a clear, semi-gloss lacquer). At the time, River Raisin Models provided appropriate decals for the three known prototype lettering schemes.
