The #704 Manual Uncoupler was produced from 1952 through 1956 in six variations. The variations consist of a red or silver lever with either two broad head pins or a metal strip to lock against the rail. The units are also stamped with either "#704" or "704" on the base. In the photo shows all six variations. From left to right and top to bottom they are as follows: Red lever, metal strip and "704", red lever, metal strip and "#704". Red lever, 2 pins and "704", red lever 2 pins and "#704". A silver lever, 2 pins and "704" followed by a silver lever, 2 pins and "#704".

The #26753 Manual Uncoupler is an uncataloged item from around 1958 that has a similar case design as the #26752, except that it has a silver lever to activate the uncoupling action. Only produced in one variation. It is known to come in a clear unmarked plastic bag. This uncoupler was often packaged in some cheaper sets. Recently a few manual uncouplers like the one in the photo have been listed on eBay with a suggested catalog number of "26704". Also, in the latest Greenberg Pocket Price Guide, #26704 is listed, however the #26753 is not listed in the Guide.
