All 1946 models have thin shank link couplers. In 1947, the #633 was either red or tuscan. Both variations have thick shank link couplers. Three variations were produced in 1948, all of which were either red plastic or were painted red. The frames were either die-cast or sheet metal. The second #633 in the photo (background) is a 1948 red plastic model with a die-cast frame. Finally, from 1949 through 1952 there were five variations produced in tuscan painted over a gray body or red plastic or red painted bodies.
