The #715 was produced from 1946 through 1954 in ten variations, which are found within three major groupings that are based upon the body and ramp colors. The first grouping produced from 1946 through 1954 contains six of the variations which have a black body and a yellow ramp. Two of the variations were produced in 1946 that have inside power pickup shoes and a silver armored car with white wheels. The third variation, produced in 1948, has link couplers with brass weights, an outside pickup and a Manoil coupe load. The fourth variation, as shown in the photo, was produced in 1949 has blackened link coupler weights, and outside pickup and a camouflaged armored car with black wheels. The fifth variation, produced from 1949 through 1952, has an outside pickup, black coupler weights and Manoil coupe load. The sixth variation produced in 1953 and 1954 has Type 3 trucks outside pickup, black coupler weights, and a Tootsietoy racer. The second grouping produced in 1951 has a gray body and yellow ramp. The differences in two variations within this group are that the first has #715 has Type 1 trucks while the second has one Type 1 and one Type 2 trucks. The third grouping, which has a black body and a blue ramp, was produced in 1952 in two variations. These two variations differ due to their trucks. The first has Type 1 trucks while the second has Type 3 trucks.
