|Category:||Box Cars (ventilated)|
|Road Name:||New York Central|
|The #25081 NYC ventilated box car was produced from 1961 through 1964, in two variations. The most common variation, shown in the photo, has a modified Type III frame with the Hayjector mechanism. The second, and least common, has an unmodified Type III frame, but does not have the Hayjector mechanism.|
Note: this box car may have come with the two track trips like the #25071, but there is no documentation that proves that one way or the other. When these cars were sold as part of a set, all of the sets had Pike-Master track, therefore only one trip was necessary.
